Customer service is non existent, okay fine. But this app is pure garbage after the update. Hadn’t been on in a while, used on and off for yearssss, will not be back. They took away the only features that made the app decent. No way they should prioritize streaming over dating this app has been dead but how many people are really using for streaming versus the number of people using for dating. Rip MeetMe

Can’t search internationally anymore, feature removed for “reasons” now I’m restricted to 300 miles of current location as if all I want to do is talk to insane Americans.

I’ve been using meet me on and off since 2018 and it was great.. now adays it’s fairly obvious it’s a cash grab. I only get people who pick me, never sends any more then pick, it’s an algorithm designed to mimic like it’s a real person.. all I know is this app has definitly changed and not for the good. Rip meet me 2025

Don’t purchase premium- you’ll never actually get it. I had to file a fraud claim with my bank about this. Don’t block anyone - they will always still appear on your list. This app has really gone downhill fast

App says I violated the community guidelines how????

Every time I make an account, my account gets disabled due to vile terms and conditions. I haven’t even sent a message. So many fake people on here and yet they blocked the real ones. And they want you to pay for it. I agree it’s a money grab site as soon as you pay for it. They’ll block you and take your money. Waste your time is so many fake people on here. Worst website I’ve ever been on.

After the recent update, haven’t recieved as many messages (which is VERY disappointing). Really loved the old version, wish it would go back. Cant give it a 5/5, due to too many downsides. I have been on the app since it was My Yearbook. It’s definitely a cash grab app. If you don’t have a following, you don’t get diamonds.

the pop up ads they added being full blown ads instead of ads you can swipe away from had made the app practically unusable it’s beyond frustrating

I have recently made a brand new account but i was permanently terminated for this app for no reason I haven't violated any terms barely got to use it. Customer service isn't responding. I'm very disappointed.

This app was great and I used it for for years but since the recent update it’s now useless, everybody hates it, and for some reason the app owners don’t care if they lose all their daily active users. Either enable an “online now” search filter like many other reviews are saying, or revert to the old version. It’s simple! Or else everyone will stop using your app like me and everyone else already has.

This new update is horrible (worse than the last time when they took away posting & basically went to live streaming only with private messaging); can’t filter by people who are currently online & the “people near you” are all out of order as it’ll start out with people a few miles away then to people 30 miles away then back to people a few miles away. Finding matches is difficult & most of the accounts now are spammers, fakes, & scammers.

Don’t entertain

Ever since they updated their app it crashes and freezes more than it actually works. You block someone, it crashes. You message someone? It crashes. It’s a joke.

Will not pay to see who liked me that’s a bit ridiculous.

This is not even a dating app anymore. Just a scam operation with the look of one.

I’ve had 2 encounters already of people who pretend to be adults on this App then try to get you to buy they’re content off them lying about they’re age which I always ask for before ever trying to date or hang out with anyone. They’ve screen shot my name and would say I was trying to hook up or get pictures from minor which I dont do it’s disgusting is so bad on someone’s record and life and yall should really check this app for people who do these types of scams for more money

Before it was one of the best app .. now you received a notification but when you open the app nothing is there .. you must subscribe to see who like you and who visited your profile.. many scammers in the app ..

Whoever decided on this new format where you can’t even filter based on whose online should be fired….

This app has a great platform and it works amazing, the only problem is all the fake profiles and scams, as well as people not correctly identifying themselves so problems do not arise. Other than that it’s a good app.

I paid for a one month subscription they give me your ability to see my likes, but kept my money. There’s no way to reach them so you can’t ask for a refund and you can’t ask for them to go ahead and let you see what you paid for. Be careful with this app. It is a rip off.

I remember I joined back in 2016 and it was great! I met up with local people and have met some really awesome people just across town, but now it's not the same. It used to be good, they added new interface! Before u were able to post a thought saying "hmu"

The app was great, but with the latest update they completely changed the app and now it's unusable

The update looks nice but it removed the option to only see people who are active at the moment. Now due to this update it’s hard to connect with people because most accounts are inactive

I’ve use this app on and off for like 15 years and this new update has completely ruined the experience for me

The interface for the “near you” page is ruined. They are trying to push the swiping section because they have removed the online feature to check who is online near you. Instead, they try to push the matching section by centering it towards the middle. Fix the app.

Deleted after 8 years. I joined the app in 2017. From 2017 to 2019 I actually talked to real local people. The latest update looked promising for about one day but I see it’s now just another OK Cupid clone. Feel free to browse through a list of the same 50 accounts that are inactive in your area of 17 million people or pay and subscribe just to find out a bot messaged you. Thanks…..

This appuy literally has zero real people. I messaged every girl in my area and beyond and every one of them tried to scam me. The people at MeetMe must not care . It should be illegal to run an App like this

Bots are everywhere. The just recently made the worst update ever. Somehow it got worse. And now they banned me. 💀

Why in the world do I keep having to do the verification process when it doesn’t even work, plus why am I clicking on profiles when my taps don’t even register?! Fix your app already.

Honestly I loved the app I was meeting new people and coming to an agreement with them and then they decided to block me when both parties agreed on an agreement although I get it some aren’t willing or are up to something different in the aspect of dating you shouldn’t have blocked me due to wanting to meet other people… I would have given a 5 star review but they stated they sent me an email in regards to this but I don’t see it all… so are they lying ?

The new update pretty much ruined the app. You can’t see when someone sent a last message, you can’t see what you’re typing while typing, and you can no longer boost yourself whenever you want. The update came out a few days after I bought six months premium, so I am naturally angry about this. I bought credits and I tested out the live section, but it bored me to death. Fix your app. Some of us want a serious relationship. We don’t want to play these round about games

This App and its related site is loaded with bots, catfishers, fakes, frauds, gold diggers, scammers and spammers. About one or two legitimate profiles for every hundred that show up in a search basically a horrible waste of time.

I used this app two years ago and it was great. Now it’s just okay. Very glitchy in updating your photos. Block feature half works. I paid for premium services but didn’t get the features. It took support almost two weeks to enable those features. I’m truly disappointed.

Trash app not sure what happened from years ago but immediately after downloading ur account is disabled and no one can help u fix it *update* i have tried reaching out to customer support several times… the app just does not work… for one there is no reason why as soon as i download I’m immediately disabled

Awful app. Greedy developers & more bots than you can sift through. Don’t waste your time. Live streams here are a joke. Was once a good live stream app but not anymore. Don’t waste your time. All the other positive reviews are paid for.

I matched with 28 people after paying for their service. Out of the 28 people 28 were dudes pretending to be ladies. I reported every one but I’m pretty sure MeetMe knows that without the catfish they’d have a ghost town Here’s what you do: upon messaging with someone keep the conversation going until they have responded to you three times that’s how many times it takes to be allowed to send a picture at that point you send a picture of yourself touching your nose with three fingers or something unique like that. You asked them to do the same thing in a selfie they will refuse because their pictures are stolen they can’t take a unique picture like you ask not a request! Works 100% of the time to identify catfish. Then report the account and watch them do nothing about it. Rinse, repeat.

Hello, I’ve been having an on going issue since 2020. I have been banned for NO REASON. Yet, they keep my profile with all of my photos. I’ve had male friends tell me they see me online and show me screenshots that I’m messaging them back. How? It seems as if meet me and skout are stealing profiles from people after banning them! They’re the real scammers! They “ban” you without a reason, keep your profile and catfish people with it. THEY ARE THE REAL BOTS! I’ve had more than a handful of profiles “banned” without a reason! Even with face recognition videos for verification! THEY ATE STEALING YOUR PHOTOS! STAY AWAY!

But for some reason the face recognition won’t recognize my face knowing there’s unlimited video of my face

I encountered somebody on this app who had photos of a woman and her children. I started to believe that this might actually be a real person. With my past experience of dealing with scams and fake profiles, I noticed right away that their English was broken. So I pushed the question if they were using children now to lure people into false sense of security to scam them. They quickly deleted the conversation and blocked me. I have screenshots to prove what I’m saying. Because I’m a mandated reporter for the state I work in they had us do a human trafficking class and along with many others was one of the ones they listed as a possible hotspot for human trafficking. Please be very careful who you talk to if you use this app. Most of the interactions I’ve had were with probably not even in this country and they scam people out of either money or use your information for something later. They usually take screenshots and create fake profile profiles. Also, this used to be a dating most people only use it for streaming. I hope the owner of these apps takes my comment very seriously because now I have to report what I’ve seen.

I bought a subscription to the app, got a receipt from Apple and a thanks for your purchase from the app. But don’t have the extra perks when I log into the app. I’ve removed the app then reinstalled and everything. Still doesn’t show.
